In case your Vertrigo server has a memory error while running a joomla 1.5 template, go to php folder and change the maximum memory on the php.ini file to a figure more than what is required of memory and restart the server.
By the way Vertrigo doesnt show this error >>>>> Warning: Parameter 1 to modMainMenuHelper::buildXML() expected to be a reference, value given in C:\xampp\htdocs\.....\libraries\joomla\cache\handler\callback.php on line 100
